For each piece played in a recital, a $15 fee will be assessed to cover preparation and material costs.
This applies to the Fall and Spring private student recitals and the Winter Around the World group event.

Bring a Friend Week also corresponds with Winter Around the World Practice Week. Private students can bring a friend to lessons to observe, and play an age appropriate games
Those participating in the Winter Around the World event can bring 1 friend to their lesson to do a little bit of the curriculum, play games, and sing/participate in Winter Around the World.
In conjunction with Bring a Friend Week. Participating students will sign up for a 60 minute slot to practice performing their group pieces in front of others. Counts as a lesson. 10 allowed per hour. Parents are encouraged to join!
Here's an opportunity for students to play or sing for each other and get feedback from your peers and another teacher.
There is a $25 registration fee due before the event. Piano students memorize 2 pieces of differing styles. A rating is received and points are accumulated towards a trophy. As each trophy is earned, the size increases. It typically takes 3-4 years of participation to earn a trophy, and each consecutive trophy after that.
This type of evaluation is different verses other St. Louis music studios, as arrangements can be performed, along with contemporary pieces such as pop, rock, R&B, and video games and movie soundtracks.
Students celebrate their work over the last year, share a sneak peak of their fall festival piece, and participate in a few music games/activities. This is a very casual play through and sample of pieces being prepared for an upcoming recital or evaluation.
Students sign up for 60 minute options. A maximum of 8 kids in each section will be allowed. Prorated fee will be due if they do not use Lesson Passes for extra lessons during this time.
Experienced students that have a wide repertoire are encouraged to pursue continual mastery of their instrument and build confidence by getting in front of others. Students will perform a program of 3-4 pieces for an audience.
