Help take a stand against hunger this Septemter! Donate items starting Hunger Action Day, September 17, through October 3!
Matt Safley Music's Fall Food Drive aims to give hope to our neighbors in need and support community growth by taking a stand against hunger.
The Fall Food Drive is collecting food and basic hygiene items, as well as monetary donations to support efforts by the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
Matt Safley Music will match your donation with the same item or contribution value!
Hunger Action Month is about raising our voices on behalf of the millions of people in the U.S. facing hunger.
Your neighbor, colleague, or friend may be forced to sacrifice food to make ends meet. Nobody never have to worry where their next meal will come from, or be forced to choose between food and electricity. Food should not be an impossible choice!
Physical Donations: please drop off food donations during studio hours at Matt Safley Music, 14538 Manchester Rd, Ste 201, Ballwin, MO 63011.
Donation bins are available in the studio. For safe, contact-less drop off, please follow the sanitation guidelines below:
Virtual and cash/check donations are a great no-contact way to contribute. Your donation will go to the Foodbank General Fund or to purchase food and basic hygiene items for the Foodbank.
Virtual donations through PayPal are encouraged.
Cash/check donations can be sent by mail to the studio. Please make those out to: Matt Safley Music. Also specify if you'd like your donation to go to the General Fund or to purchase donation items.

One of the biggest reasons our neighbors might not seek out help is because they don’t know help exists.
Whether it’s on social media or in person, let the people in your life know that you don’t judge them for needing help. Everyone needs a little help sometimes.
Sometimes, you don’t even need to ask if someone is struggling. Just ask your friends, family, and neighbors how they’ve been and what you can do to help them de-stress.
Many programs rely on volunteers to help unload, set up and distribute meals. Some food banks even use volunteers to hand out meal flyers around the neighborhood.
Whatever the opportunity, the best place to start is to check with your local food bank to see how you can help.
From assembling meals, loading meals into trucks, to putting gas in food bank trucks, you can help our area foodbank. The St. Louis Area Foodbank is dedicated to ensuring as many kids and families as possible have access to meals, but they need your help! Make a donation to help support their meal programs at a time when they’re needed most.
